Security Team Leader

JOB SUMMARY: The Security Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Indium Corporation’s premises by monitoring access points, implementing security protocols, and responding to security incidents. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES): 

• Maintains the security of Indium Corporation properties 

• Maintains the visitor sign-in process 

• Observes surveillance monitors of Indium Corporation properties 

• Performs foot patrol of all Indium Corporation properties 

• Processes and distributes badges to newly hired employees 

• Issues parking passes and maintains the program 

• Assists in evacuation of Indium Corporation personnel at the direction of the Security Operations Supervisor 

• Acts as first responder and performs incident control when warranted 

• Reports any suspicious behavior or activities to the appropriate authorities 

• Takes immediate action in response to security breaches, emergencies, or unauthorized access 

• Communicates effectively with employees, visitors, and vendors 

• Maintains accurate daily logs of security-related activities and incidents 

• Prepares detailed incident and accident reports as needed 

• Communicates security-related information to Security Operations Supervisor 

• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Associate degree in criminal justice or equivalent; additional education or certifications in security-related fields or job-related experience in law enforcement, security or public safety preferred 

• Proven experience in access control, physical security, or a related field 

• Strong observational and analytical skills 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure 

• Familiarity with security technology, including surveillance systems and access control systems 

• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended period 

• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism 

• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

WAGE DISCLOSURE:

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.

$19.00 per hour - $21.00 per hour

($39,500 - $43,500 annually)
