Mechanical Engineering Professional

We are seeking talented and motivated individuals for our summer intern program, designed to provide a structured experience that equips interns with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in chemical plant operations. Under close supervision, interns will be responsible for providing technical support to assigned areas.

The internship period runs from May to August, depending on the school calendar. The goal of the Indorama Intern Program is to equip interns with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in chemical plant manufacturing and analysis.

After initial orientation, interns will be assigned to either Project Engineering or Reliability Engineering area. As a mechanical engineering professional, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.

What We Expect From You:

• You will be required to give a project assignments presentation to the Site Leadership Team at the end of the internship.
• You will support engineers in the performance of assignments, both project and day-to-day workings of engineering.
• You will provide status updates to your mentor/engineer on project assignments.
• You will ensure that activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality, and responsible care requirements).
• You must be present in the workplace on a regular basis and be able to work extra hours if needed.
• You will work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
• You will assist other employees in achieving Indorama company goals.
• You will follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
• You will participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
• You will participate in and complete company-required training programs.
