Instructional Designer

• Position: Instructional Designer
• Location: , Tonawanda, New York - 14150
• Shift: 8:00am-4:45pm EST.
• Duration: 5 Months

Pay Rate: $30/hour on W2

Job Description:

• This position will be responsible for designing and managing training solutions for our internal clients. Successful candidates must demonstrate high levels of leadership capability, a team-oriented focus, and an ability to meet the needs of the customer. We are seeking a learning professional with experience in instructional design, which includes developing and/or redesigning instructor-led and web-based courses or curricula, and associated training materials/documents (guides, instructor books, assessments, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop innovating and engaging training based on input from subject matter experts (SMEs), written materials, previous training courses, etc.
• Write, design, and develop training courses using multiple delivery methods (instructor-led, eLearning, simulation, tutorial, videos, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, or related disciplines
• 3-5 years professional experience designing and developing training programs using different delivery methods (instructor-led, eLearning, videos, etc.)
• Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and application of adult learning theories and principles
• Strong interpersonal skills in both SME and team interactions
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proficient in eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Synthesia
• Experience creating storyboards/content outlines
• General graphic design knowledge and Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator (preferred but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
