Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect goods for visible damage, discrepancies, or missing items
- Accurately document received inventory into warehouse management systems
- Tag, label, and sort items according to storage procedures
- Coordinate with internal teams for priority or time-sensitive deliveries
- Safely unload materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other handling equipment
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in receiving areas
- Follow company protocols for hazardous or temperature-sensitive goods
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) consistently
- Familiarity with scanners, WMS, or basic computer input systems
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to train)
