Role: Layer 3 Network Technician Project-Based (Rack & Stack)
Location: Pomona, CA & Indianapolis, IN (On-site)
Job Type: Part-Time, Project-Based
Overview: We are seeking an experienced individual or organization to handle a network refresh project in Pomona, CA and Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate or team will be responsible for rack and stack installation, network migration, and Layer 3 configurations while bringing their own tools and equipment to complete the job efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rack and stack of network equipment, including switches, routers, and related hardware.
- Configure, install, and migrate Layer 3 networking components (routing, VLANs, subnetting).
- Deploy, test, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
- Work closely with on-site IT teams to ensure minimal downtime during migration.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and migration processes.
- Provide post-migration support as required.
Requirements:
- Individuals or organizations with experience in Layer 3 network installation and migration.
- Expertise in rack and stack, hardware deployment, and structured cabling.
- Ability to bring their own tools and equipment for the project.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with on-site teams.
- Must be available for on-site work in Pomona, CA and/or Indianapolis, IN. Multiple roles, multiple locations.
