General Summary
Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for performing a variety of management duties to ensure the various Commercial functions of the company are operating smoothly. This includes developing critical priorities and procedures for commercial purchasing, managing vendor relationships and their terms, and ensuring ongoing document control.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Determine Procurement Department priorities and guidelines
Oversee the Procurement department and team
Develop solutions for department process improvements
Manage the acquiring, distribution, and tracking processes for Company assets
Audit documentant maintenance and recordkeeping within the department
Support project and operations teams as required
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Work Experience
3-5 years procurement experience (or related field)
Construction industry experience preferred
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Must have knowledge of commonly used administrative and office concepts, practices and procedures
Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service focus
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and Google Suites and the ability to learn new software quickly
Exceptional problem-solving skills with consistent follow through
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with all levels of staff as well as external customers
