Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition & Development, the Talent Acquisition Partner will join the Talent Acquisition (TA) team within the People & Culture (P&C) department. In this role you will support and own all phases of the recruiting process: sourcing, screening, selecting, and onboarding top talent to join INDUS Technology! The ideal candidate is a tactical and ambitious recruiter who leverages all of their tools and network in order to hire the best and brightest talent effectively and efficiently - yet is also a thoughtful and empathetic people-person focused on ensuring that each candidate presented for a specific job opportunity is a strong technical and culture fit for INDUS, for our client(s), and most importantly for the candidate! This position can be located in one of the following locations:
- San Diego, CA
- Honolulu, HI
- Oxnard, CA (Pt. Hueneme)
What You'll Do
- Executes talent acquisition activities by sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and selecting candidates. Recommends creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates. Maintains current knowledge of business, requirements, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends, etc.
- Drives the recruitment process and enhances TA metrics by minimizing overall time-to-fill and time-to-start metrics.
- Tracks and maintains data integrity of requisitions, candidate disposition and all relevant information in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Engages with candidates, business leaders, and hiring managers from initial inquiry through onboarding. Executes and tracks offer process including salary recommendations and negotiation, offer letter generation, offer acceptance/declines, and any other negotiations in
- partnership with relevant business and People & Culture (P&C) partners.
- Serves as a brand ambassador for the organization. Supports corporate events, attends job fairs, and may be involved in other initiatives to boost employer branding and candidate engagement.
- Supports Talent Acquisition (TA) and People & Culture (P&C) process improvement initiatives as requested.
- Serve as a People & Culture (P&C) leader. Support and attend corporate and client events, job/career fairs, happy hours, philanthropic events, and more to build relationships with employees, hiring managers, and senior leaders as well as candidates.
- Partners with People & Culture (P&C) management to develop and maintain company policies, processes, and procedures.
- May conduct 30/60/90-day survey and follow up interviews with new hires. Works with leaders to strategize opportunities for improvement.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related technical field.
- At least three to five (3-5) years of experience working in talent acquisition or providing related recruitment support in a high-volume environment.
- Prior experience recruiting within the DoD space supporting Echelon II and Echelon III Navy commands (NAVSEA, NAVWAR, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management and owning the full-cycle recruiting process.
- Experience delivering and briefing industry-standard metrics and reports to stakeholders (Time-to-Fill, Time-to-Hire, etc.).
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Possess a high emotional intelligence (EQ) to include skills in self-awareness and listening, self-management and adaptability, social awareness and empathy, and relationship management.
- Experience configuring and maintaining an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); experience training new and existing users on functionality and updates.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Possess a passion for people and collaborating with others.
- Critical-thinking skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Travel Required: ~10% travel required (to client and corporate destinations such as San Diego, CA, Ventura, CA, Oahu, HI, and beyond!).
Desired Qualifications:
- Industry-relevant (DoD) and/or U.S. Navy organizational or system/application knowledge is highly desired.
- iCIMS Applicant Tracking System experience is highly desired.
- Human Resources or Talent Acquisition certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SC, etc.).
INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $80,000. – $115,000. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications. To drive fair pay practices for employees, INDUS conducts regular comparisons across our employee groups and the industry.
