Job title : Senior Network Engineer
Location : Overland Park, KS, Hybrid(2-3 days onsite)
Duration : 6 months Contract to Hire

Job Summary : The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role requires advanced technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience managing large-scale networks in enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 years of experience in network engineering or related IT infrastructure roles.
- Extensive experience with networking protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of network security best practices and tools (firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPNs).
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) and SDN (Software-Defined Networking).
- Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
