Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join our facility in Cleveland, TX. The successful candidate will work directly with, the current Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, Production Supervisor, Chief Operating Officer, Procurement Coordinator, as well as Field Service Managers and Foremen to manage the shipping and receiving of material either in-house or into the field along with managing IAFD inventory levels.
This is an ideal role for someone who works in a small/medium company or is tired of being a number within a large organization. You will gain hands-on training being integrated into our organization reporting to our Chief Operating Officer and advised by the President directly. Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Knowledge and preparation of paperwork and arrangements of transportation services, which requires an understanding of LTL, Flatbed, sprinter, and truckload shipments
- Proper handling of shipping/receiving paperwork per company procedures
- Prepare shipping quotes
- Generate Bills of Ladings and schedule pickups and deliveries as needed
- Verify all outgoing shipments are checked against packing slips
- Generate all QAQC documents
- Complete CAF invoices for consumables
- Entering manufacturing credit card charges against a chart of accounts
- Work closely with procurement
- Receipt of all inbound materials
- Record shortages and reject damaged goods
- File claims if shipping criteria are not met
- Performs random cycle counts
- Assist with periodic physical inventory and maintaining inventory updates
- Tracks all shipments
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of commonly used shipping and receiving concepts, practices, and procedures
- PC skills required (Outlook, Microsoft Word)
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Hands-on experience with inventory processes/procedures including physical inventories
- Ability to research and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
