Industrial Communications West is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and delivery schedules. In this role, you will supervise a team of 2 warehouse associates and 3 CDL delivery drivers, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations, product delivery, and coordination between departments. The Warehouse Supervisor will collaborate closely with other supervisors and management to maintain seamless workflow and timely delivery of products to our Colorado and Nebraska locations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate floor operations including picking, receiving, loading, inventory, and delivery.
- Plan deliveries of product to site or Warehouse’s in Colorado and Nebraska locations.
- Track equipment needs for Warehouse delivery, construction team, generator team, and for maintenance to be completed.
- Oversee cycle counts in the Warehouse and assist in cycle counts in Colorado and Nebraska locations when necessary.
- Identify variances and report accurate counts to management.
- Assist Delivery drivers if need by going on route when necessary
- Perform ride-along audits to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Unload and inspect incoming shipments, ensure accurate receipt, and document any discrepancies for reporting to Accounting.
- Pick products to build approved BOM’s and other order as they arise.
- Open and or close the warehouse and yard to ensure smooth operations Monday through Friday.
- Respond to emergency needs to the field during nights and weekends when necessary.
- Navigate Microsoft applications and company system efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with DOT rules in terms of loading, strapping, and weight distribution for deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse to ensure efficient operations and accurate product flow.
- Effectively communicate with warehouse staff and other departments within the company to ensure clear direction and coordination.
- Assist in interviewing new hires, training, and staff reviews.
- Fosters a positive work environment with a professional mindset. Lead by example to maintain a strong safety culture and ensuring safety is a top priority.
