Our Human Resource Coordinator has a key role in reporting to the Human Resources Director or Human Resources Manager for The Industrial Fumigant Company based in Lenexa, KS.
This position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations and activities of the HR Department providing administrative support, but not limited to, being a point of contact for employees regarding questions relating to Human Resources (HR) policies, programs, and practices. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, outstanding time management and communication skills, a commitment to exceptional customer support, and the ability to build relationships at every level of the organization.
Schedule: Onsite 8 AM-5 PM Mon-Fri

The Successful Candidate Will . . .
- Execute and assist with transactional core human resources processes and functions for the Brand and the Division team such as, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, onboarding and offboarding, team member, engagement, training and development, and performance management
- Conduct and coordinate new team member orientation, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Act as point of contact to assist in team member benefit program questions, team member leave of absence reporting, new hire and annual open enrollment, and direct employees with questions regarding 401(k), and Employee Stock Purchase Plan
- Advise, verify, maintain, and update electronic personnel files including verification of employment requests, team member coaching, performance evaluations, and all team member personnel changes to ensure accuracy for state and federal compliance and auditing purposes
- Provide general HR support and, in coordination with HR and the General Management team to implement and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Creates, develops, and maintains all job postings by utilization of Microsoft Suite of products, Adobe, applicable job boards, and ATS (iCIMS)
- Assists with recruitment/sourcing, monitoring & updating job flow, launching pre-employments, as well as prescreening of employment applications and resumes to elevate candidate eligibility in iCIMS
- Regularly utilize HRIS system (UKG – UltiPro) to process all new hires, assist managers, and provide support on HRIS self-service questions based on business need
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports as needed
- Partner with the payroll team to assist in accurately processing pay changes, new hire paperwork, unemployment claims processing, and communicate any updates, changes, or pertinent information

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screen
- Must have at least 1 year in an HR Admin role or higher OR actively pursuing a degree in human resources OR at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management position OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills must be able to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.
- Ability to maintain a high sense of confidentiality due to access level and visibility of sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree or Certificate in Human Resources
- At least 1 year in candidate management in an applicant tracking system
- At least 1 year of experience utilizing an HRIS system such
- Multi-state experience
