We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on the 1st shift. Must be proficient in set-ups. Mastercam experience a plus, but now necessary.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for set-up, adjustment and operation of CNC Mills on parts of varying complexity
- Uses computer printouts for proper sequencing of machine set-ups, selecting and placing tooling and fixtures
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Measuring and recording to ensure product is within customer specifications
- Monitors dimensions and makes adjustments as required to maintain tolerances.
- Perform routine machine maintenance; Chuck greasing, adding oils & maintaining coolants
- Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required
- Make edits when necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
