IPS Packaging & Automation has been providing customers across the nation with innovative packaging solutions for 48 years. As industry experts, we exceed the needs of our customers by offering a plethora of packaging supplies, equipment, and services.

This is a full time, in office position in Greenville, SC

We are looking for :

  • Self motivated individuals extremely detail oriented
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • 2 years of distribution experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

Job Responsibilities / Skills :

  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate best total cost of ownership of goods and services.
  • Manage market adjustments of commodities and communicate across the organization.
  • Manage the reporting of Rebates for optimal supply incentives.
  • Meticulous management of inventory to facilitate corporate inventory turn targets.
  • Balance material requirements and manage zero stock position to ensure uninterrupted supply of material.
  • Liaison of supply issues of inventory, quality, and discrepant payments.
  • Stock out management (proactive approach)
  • Price index tracking
  • Contracts and Terms Management
  • Strong communications skills upward and downward providing precise information.
  • Demand planning and management experience
