As an Industrial Pump Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of industrial pumps, including centrifugal, positive displacement, and other specialized pump systems. You will work closely with our service team to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pump failures and related mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on industrial pumps, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly.
- Perform routine testing and calibration of pump systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Work with customers to assess pump needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure repairs are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service reports
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the service department to manage parts inventory and order necessary components.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in mechanical systems is a plus.
- Technical repair and maintenance knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- The ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
