Industrial Solutions & Innovation, LLC (ISI)
Position Overview:
Industrial Solutions & Innovation, LLC (ISI) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to lead and manage our bookkeeping and financial operations. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, including sales, rental, repair, and engineering services sold or rented by ISI. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, inventory management, procurement, and coordination with various departments, including production, repair, and technical/engineering teams. This position will also ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintain a smooth integration between operational software and QuickBooks Enterprise for financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Lead and manage all bookkeeping practices for ISI, including processing transactions related to sales, rentals, repairs, and engineering services.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Inventory & Procurement Oversight:
- Set policies and procedures for the management of inventory, procurement, and work in progress (WIP).
- Collaborate with production, repair, and technical/engineering teams to ensure accurate accounting of inventory and its location.
- Coordinate with procurement and production departments to ensure timely arrival of products and resources needed for client orders and projects.
- System Integration & Reporting:
- Manage the integration of data from separate operational software into QuickBooks Enterprise for seamless financial accounting.
- Work closely with the IT and operations teams to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
- Regularly update and manage financial reporting and dashboards.
- GAAP Compliance & Best Practices:
- Maintain adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Recommend and implement improvements to accounting policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure accuracy.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work directly with cross-functional teams, including production, repair, and engineering, to ensure smooth coordination of resources.
- Train and support staff in accounting procedures, as well as new systems or tools used within the company.
- Provide leadership in accounting and finance practices, driving continuous improvement.
- Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel to ISI offices in other locations for meetings and operational support as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise and other financial software systems.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in managing and optimizing inventory and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with industrial or technical services industries is a plus.
- Advanced certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are desirable.
Work Environment:
- Full-time, in-office position.
- Occasional travel required to various ISI office locations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
