Accounts Payable Coordinator

Position Open: Entry-Level Accounts Payable Hours of work: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, in-person at our Springfield location.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for our company’s accounts payable processes, including timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and on time
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wires)
• Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting
• Support audits by providing documentation and answering inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
• Willingness to job share and learn other accounting functions to assist with vacation coverage when needed, including answering customer and employee questions via phone.
