What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Robotic Cell Operator position at Industrial Technology Services?
We are seeking a CNC Operator for a high volume production robotic cell for the 2nd shift. Scheduled hours are 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday. Great opportunity for individuals looking to advanced in the CNC Machining trade.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain operations within a robotic cell
- Load and unload parts
- Verify parts are machined to meet customer requirements
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
- Inspect and measure machined parts to ensure blueprint specifications are met.
- Monitors dimensions and makes adjustments as required to maintain tolerances.
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
- Comply with all company processes, procedures, quality directives and safety procedures.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
- Operate a forklift as required to move raw and finished goods.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skill, experience and minimum education required:
Minimum 1 year CNC operating in a high volume supply chain environment
- A good understanding of CNC machining
- Ability to use measuring instruments e.g. gauges, micrometers, calipers
- Mechanically inclined
- Good math skills
- Detail-oriented
Salary : $17 - $18
