What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Supervisor position at Indy Collective Property Group?
Welcome to Indy Collective Property Group!
We are looking for a reliable, capable employee who can:
1) Regularly inspect, catch & help tidy our properties, as well as help keep them secure.
What this means is visiting up to four of our properties each day, catching anything problematic from the serious - like leaks - to the small, like trash left in common areas, document, report, and address them as appropriate.
2) Supervise our cleaners.
What this means is inspecting their work towards the end of each day (typically between 3-5 PM), documenting, and reporting any issues or concerns to management.
You must:
Not mind driving (your own vehicle to start, one provided after 6 months of satisfactory work) an average of 15-20 miles per day.
Be willing to have your location tracked for verification purposes and to log your time accurately.
Enter work orders / become familiar with how to use our Property Management system Appfolio
Present yourself professionally and hospitably to tenants (branded shirts provided)
Be physically willing and able to climb many flights of stairs
Use tidying tools such as a broom and dustpan, handheld vacuum, rolling trashcan, etc.
This is a great job if you like independence, while also being part of a team, and to help make the lives of our residents better by helping to maintain high standards of livability.
A plus if you:
Have basic handyman skills or better.
Are looking to work part time. This job can effectively be done in an average of 4-5 hours per day. If you want more work, it is important that you have other skills like maintenance.
