If you have demonstrate high quality customer service skills, and can multitask by answering multiple phone lines, all while petting a puppy—and do it for up to 10 hours a day—we have a job for you! Excellent compensation available for experienced client care specialists (receptionists) at our practice in Philadelphia. Our team adores people with can-do attitudes and friendly smiles, and so do our clients.

Our cloud-based practice software helps to minimize the use of paper medical records and increase efficiency. Our skilled client service representatives assist our veterinarians and veterinary technicians by scheduling appointments, processing payments, logging client communications received via phone, email and text, discussing quality of life services, answering calls and forwarding important messages to other team members. Our clients trust our medical recommendations and are dedicated in supporting our small business.

What We’re Looking For: We’re on the hunt for a confident, compassionate, and highly skilled client service representative with a passion for client education and great multitasking abilities. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a self-starter, dependable, energetic, and always eager to learn. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as we value clear, empathetic communication with both our clients and our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls using a multiple line phone system
  • Check in patients for their visits
  • Manage front desk as sole receptionist a few shifts each week
  • Review itemized invoices with clients
  • Process payments (credit card, CareCredit, cash, check)
  • Educate owners on our practice's recommendations for their specific pet
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
  • Review and log client communications (in person, email, phone, text)

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in small animal general practice knowledge
  • Interest and enthusiasm for client education
  • Previous receptionist experience

-Day shift
-Monday to Friday
-Saturdays (staff rotation)

Supplemental Pay:

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
