We are the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).
ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment.
Background Information
This full-time position supports the Electronic Warfare (EW) Team within the Aircraft Signature & Avionics Measurement (ASAM) Branch at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR).
The EW team provides an electromagnetic threat environment to support research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) programs, national systems testing, and large scale exercises.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and perform tests and evaluation on Electronic Warfare (EW) systems equipment or components.
- Support an EW test facility and document technical data and information (drawings, parts lists, etc.) for team use.
- Support the integration of various COTS electronics, RF devices, amplifiers, pedestals, and antennas into EW systems for T&E mission use.
- Custom fabrication using hand tools employing various raw materials, hardware, fasteners, lighting and electrical components.
- The individual is required to have knowledge of electronics and radio frequency (RF) signal generators, high power amplifiers (solid-state, TWTs, and magnetrons), and electronic test equipment (e.g. RF spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power meters, voltmeters, etc.).

Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
- Engineering/Electronics Technician AA/AS degree or related curriculum from an accredited college or university or successful completion of technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school or successful completion of at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of courses from an accredited college.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in performing the stated or similar job functions.
- A minimum of 4 years of the stated experience must include wiring of electrical components such as data acquisition units; fabrication of wire harnesses; soldering of PC boards and other components.
- Solid digital & analog troubleshooting skills, ability to perform component and/or system level calibrations, and signal verification skills required.
- RF knowledge of cables & waveguide, various RF connectors, antennas, and coupler/splitters is desired.
- Must be able to understand and interpret electrical engineering RF designs, drawings, specifications, and concepts.
- Ability to create technical diagrams, parts lists, and Operation s& Maintenance (O&M) documents and system troubleshooting references.
- Must understand basic MS Windows OS and MS Office applications.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Willing to travel supporting land-based and maritime EW operations. Able to ride ships/boats.
- Willing to travel CONUS (up to 15%) and possibly OCONUS (up to 5%).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass drug screening.
Clearance Requirements
- Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
- Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance.
