At Inellas Restoration Center, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change to encourage support, empowerment, and progress. We_ provide a safe place where Women and Children, whom are survivors of Domestic Violence, find shelter and heal from the effects of emotional, physical, and psychological abuse. Inellas will help survivors learn new skills that empower them to live independent of abuse, educate the survivors and public concerning the rights of victims of abuse and advocate for the end of Domestic Violence._Our growing nonprofit is seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about victim rights, healthy relationships, and empowerment. We are interested in welcoming interested volunteers who can commit to driving our message forward online and in-person. We are based in Maywood, IL however we are currently seeking office and counseling space to rent. With a long-term goal of acquiring a building to house a shelter
Our team is 100% volunteer and our goal is to eventually hire on staff to help run the nonprofit’s day to day operations.

Time Commitment
This is a volunteer position, requiring approximately 10 hours per month. Hours are flexible but should be consistent to support the organizations needs.
Location
The position is based in Maywood, IL, with activities in the surrounding west suburbs. While in-person attendance is highly encouraged to foster collaboration and community engagement, remote participation may be available for certain meetings or responsibilities based on individual circumstances.

Responsibilities:
Board members are responsible for advancing the organization's mission, recruiting exceptional new board members, and representing Inellas:
- Serving on committees (as needed)
- Using effective communication tools to further our work
- Fulfilling legal and fiduciary responsibilities
- Preparing for and attending board meetings
- Leveraging personal and professional connections to support fundraising and strengthen the organization's reputation
- Influencing public policy to align with the mission of Inellas
Board members are expected to uphold and embody the vision and mission of Inellas Restoration Center.
They must fulfill their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, and professionalism.

Schedule and Location
This position is a Part-time, volunteer with a minimum of 10 hours per month. Hours are flexible but consistent. Location: Maywood, IL and west suburbs surrounding area.
