INEOS Calabrian is a leading supplier of sulfur dioxide and related derivatives used in water treatment and other applications. The Company manufactures sulfur dioxide and downstream derivatives such as, sodium bisulfite, sodium metabisulfite and sodium thiosulfate and serves markets in North and South America. Its products are used in industrial water treatment applications as well as other specialty applications in mining, personal care, pulp and paper processing, food preservation, and oilfield production.
The INEOS Calabrian production sites include INEOS Calabrian (Port Neches, TX) and INEOS Calabrian Canada (Timmins, ON) and corporate office in Columbus, OH.
The Mechanical/E/I Planner is responsible for planning routine, Turnaround (TAR) and outage scope of work impacting Mechanical equipment (Fixed/Rotating), Electrical/Instrumentation, reliability improvements, preventive and predictive Maintenance and Capital improvements projects.
This role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and do does not have any directs reports; even though this role is expected to lead by influence and by example in the delivery of the job requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Ensure HSE delivery and serves as a champion for INEOS 20 Principles, INEOS IGGN’s and life savings rules for INEOS employees and contractors supporting planned scope of work.
· Promotes expectations for safe execution of work with zero defects and zero rework.
· Ensure all INEOS policies, specifications, standards, and safety standards are followed throughout the planning process.
· Review and field assess (walk down) job scopes on new, unusual, or critical equipment to develop understanding of requirements, deliverables of change (MOC) expectations are met.
· Assures than scope of work and plans to repair/upgrade/inspect and/maintain protective system and equipment is executed in accordance to OEM requirements and/or best practices.
· Conceptualize, define, and document tasks/steps, time and cost estimates required to execute and deliver defined scope.
· Observes and promotes procurement work process and observance of INEOS Delegation of Authority requirements.
· Works with Procurement team to develop bid packages for jobs / materials more than $25,000 USD per scope of work.
· Follow the priority process to assure that high risk work is planned accordingly. [A1] [A2]
· Communicate and coordinate the execution of multi-craft job plans to enable the effective utilization of resources.
· Defines and validates all scheduled work is resourced (People, materials, tools and time) to be delivered based on agreed plans.
· Coordinates and participates in the on-boarding process of contractors and support staff performing defined and planned scope of work.
· Maintain equipment historical data and technical support documentation.
· Create, review, capture lessons learned and archived executed field execution plans to foster continuous improvement culture.
· Assess job plan requirements and tracks resources (Parts/personnel/Time) to anticipate risk/liabilities and initiate mitigating actions (e.g., expedite material, new contractor). as needed.
· Work with the Technical/Reliability Team to develop a plan for improving equipment reliability and insuring all preventive and predictive maintenance required for the equipment is executed as scheduled to maximize equipment reliability.
· Identify and implement improvements that result in year over year improvements in maintenance costs.
· Support Operations team and Maintenance team in the identification of reliability bad actors.
· Addresses in a timely manner assigned action items and participates on site Safety Programs and business programs.
· Proactively identifies and communicate areas for improvements in the assets and work process to capture organizational efficiencies.
Education / Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Three years of experience in the planning of maintenance execution and/or improvement of chemical manufacturing equipment Electrical/Power, Instrumentation, Fixed Equipment, Rotating equipment, Safety equipment and protective devices)
· Planning experience with SAP, CMS, or similar software.
· Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence).
· Ability to learn other software including CMMS.
· Three or more years of previous planning work experience.
· Field experience with fixed/rotating mechanical and E/I equipment.
