INEOS has an exciting opportunity for an IT Server Services Engineer to join our Enterprises business at our Columbus, OH location.

Job Objective
The primary objective of the IT Server Services Engineer will be responsible for Enterprises IT server design, infrastructure, security, policies, and implementation. The role will include management of the hypervisors, storage solutions, server backups and disaster recovery. The role will be accountable for server patching and software updates. As part of system administration, the SME will be responsible for Active Directory design, infrastructure, security, policies, and implementation. The role will also manage IT tools for monitoring, imaging, and software deployment. As part of acquisitions and divestitures this role will be responsible for the integration or separation of all server assets. The role will also include working with the application teams to implement new solutions or upgrade existing solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to :
- Design and implement server policies and standards.
- Maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure to include monitoring, capacity management, patching, backups, and disaster recovery. This will include both VMWare, HyperV, and Nutanix environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain storage solutions across all Enterprises environments.
- Audit and reporting capabilities for ensuring security and license compliance across all servers.
- Design and implement identity policies and standards for Active Directory.
- Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory infrastructure
- Package software for deployment and implement deployment jobs. This will include integration of software deployment jobs into the workstation and server imaging processes.
- Collaboration with application team to troubleshoot application issues.
