Responsibilities:
- Able to move, assemble, install, and/or dismantle machinery to support company needs.
- Responsible for work being performed in a proper and timely manner.
- Assist with diagnosing problems.
- Visually inspect equipment.
- Compliance with company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SQF, HACCP, personal safety standards and OSHA standards.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Proficiency in carbon and stainless steel welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and diagrams.
- Knowledge of various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick).
- Experience in measuring, cutting, threading, and installing pipes.
- Ability to assemble and disassemble various types of machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience with precision alignment and leveling of equipment.
- Experience in fabricating metal parts and structures.
