What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Child Care Provider position at Infant Toddler Family Day Care?
Infant Toddler Family Day Care (ITFDC) operates a licensed Family Day Home System in Northern Virginia. We are seeking Family Child Care Provider applicants in the Arlington and Alexandria area. A Family Child Care Provider is a professional who cares for a small group of children in their own private home, such as their house, townhouse, or apartment. The residence used for child care must be the legal residence of the provider. Applicants are required to have experience caring for children that are not their own. ITFDC will provide all screening, training, approval, and monitoring of the family child care homes in our system.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED (from USA or other country)
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Rental office, landlord, or HOA allow child care in your home
- Experience or volunteer work in babysitting or childcare
Responsibilities
- Own, maintain, and operate a day care business in your home
- Understand and adhere to required licensing policies and regulations
- Participate in the marketing of your business to generate enrollments and income
- Provide safe and developmentally appropriate care to the infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in your care
