Position Overview
The Medical Director at Spectrum Medical Care Center is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing comprehensive, inclusive healthcare services for the LGBTQ community and allies. Clinical Leadership
- Provide comprehensive patient care, establishing ongoing relationships through diagnosis, treatment, and medical management
- Supervise and recruit Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and clinical staff
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines
- Conduct monthly chart audits and performance reviews
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies
- Lead monthly medical provider meetings
- Provide medical education and consultation to local and national medical communities
Operational Oversight
Collaborate with leadership to set clinical performance benchmarksManage daily clinical operations and staff performanceOversee utilization management and care coordinationParticipate in 340B Committee meetingsDevelop and maintain departmental budgetsEstablish partnerships with pharmacies and community referral entitiesRepresent Spectrum Medical at community eventsTeam Development

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsConduct monthly clinical service auditsLead quality improvement initiativesMonitor emerging healthcare policiesEvaluate medical performance and clinical outcomesQualifications
