Position: Telemetry Tech/ Cardiac Monitoring Tech
Location: Kealakekua, HI 96750
Duration: 3 months contract

As a Cardiac Monitoring Technician at this facility, you are responsible for continuously monitoring patients' heart rhythms using telemetry systems, identifying any abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias), and promptly notifying nurses or physicians of any significant changes, while maintaining accurate documentation and upholding patient safety standards within the hospital setting.
Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring:
Observe and interpret cardiac rhythms displayed on telemetry monitors, identifying arrhythmias like atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and heart rate irregularities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Cardiac Monitor Technician (CCMT) or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with nurses and physicians
