Job Description
One to two years of experience in desktop support
Looking for immediate joiners
Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support desktop/laptop systems based on incidents/service requests and requirements.
knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Linux, Unix,and networking.
Installation and configuration of antivirus software s
Installation and configuration of Encryption software s
Installation and configuration of email clients ( Ex: Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Mail App, thunderbird and other email clients)
Configuration of network and standalone printers.
Analyse and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
Perform IT support related tasks as assigned by Supervisor/helpdesk
Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate support teams for resolutions.
Perform repairs and replacements of software and hardware peripherals
Plan and execute allotted work within deadlines and maintain records of daily tasks
Inventory management of software and hardware components
Maintain accurate documentations for system installations, configurations, upgrade
Basic knowledge of network and windows firewall.
Sanitization of Hard Drive and Secure data disposal
Should be able to work independently.
Should work in night shifts
Skills:
Proficient in verbal and written English communication
Windows 10 System administration
Active directory user object management.
End-user device and laptop management.
MS office and outlook configuration.
Basic office365 mailbox management.
Knowledge of common end-user-level Windows applications.
