Position Description
Quality supervisor responsible for supporting and directing quality personnel in warehouse and assembly environments. Must be experienced performing visual, mechanical, and electrical tests and inspection of components, parts, and cable assemblies. Must be familiar with quality functions and activities including inspection and test, internal audits, development and maintenance of metrics, ISO 9001 quality management systems, calibration, and generation and maintenance of quality records. This is a work on site position.

General Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the quality team on the inspection of materials, processes, parts, assemblies, finished parts and machined parts to assure quality products.
- Prepare discrepant material reports (DMR’s), process customer material authorization returns (RMA’s), and complete other documentation and metrics as applicable.
- Maintain and track quality metrics for the purposes of analysis, control, and management reports.
- Manage staff selection, performance, development, and training to ensure team competencies and capabilities supporting business goals and expectations.
- Supervise and guide receiving inspection processes following requirements defined in Infinite Electronics’ procedures
- Support production regarding any quality related issues.
- Assist technical support and customer service teams with technical information, as requested.
- Communicates vendor and product non-conformance issues to quality management and engineering
- Other duties and responsibilities not mentioned above that satisfy corporate quality requirements.
- Excellent planning, analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong PC and software application skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with various deadlines.
- Demonstrated good judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
- Collaborative mindset that works well in a team setting.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Navision (NAV) ERP system a plus.
- Read/speak/write in English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Experienced in usage of common measuring equipment such as calipers, pin gages, micrometers.
- Clear understanding of quality concepts such as root cause/failure analysis, continuous improvement, process mapping, and product/process variation and process auditing.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience writing procedures and documents supporting ISO 9001 requirements.
- Reliable, dependable, diligent highly organized with good time management skills
- Proven ability to plan and direct technical efforts to meet quality targets.
- Effective interpersonal skills to influence and lead a team.
- The successful candidate should exhibit a sense of ownership, urgency, be solution orientated, highly collaborative and accountable.
- Minimum High school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent work experience (5 years minimum in a Quality Assurance role)
Physical Job Requirements
- Sitting: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 2 hours
- Walking: Throughout the facility on a continuous basis
- Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Climbing: Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
- Vision: Corrected 20/20 vision required
- Talking/Hearing: Must be able to communicate on the telephone.
