What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compassionate Caregiver position at Infinite Heart Support Care Services LLC?
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide support for an individual with developmental disabilities.
Position Details:
- Location: Temple Terrace, FL
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Duties:
- Assist the client, who is non-ambulatory and uses a wheelchair, with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, feeding, and mobility support.
- Provide transportation and accompany the client on community outings for a few hours each day.
- Offer companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
- Support communication needs, as the client communicates at a low level.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills are essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 2 years (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 100% (Required)
