Responsibilities
- Generate accurate claims in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on claim denials, rejections and outstanding payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
- Maintain accurate and organized billing records
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to enhance billing processes
- Prepare regular billing reports for management review
- Assist in special projects and financial audits as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role
- Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
