- Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and patient accounts.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies or billing-related issues.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations, coding practices, and insurance policies.
- Generate billing reports and provide insights to improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred; experience in Pulmonary or Intensive Care is a bonus.
- Proficiency in medical billing and coding, with a strong understanding of DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications.
- Familiarity with medical records management and medical terminology is essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
