Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Manager to join our team in managing and overseeing the recruitment efforts for our assisted living facilities across New York. The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring qualified candidates for a variety of roles within the facility, including healthcare providers, caregivers, administrative staff, and other essential personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment, strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, and a passion for finding the best talent to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the recruitment process for all open positions within the assisted living facility, ensuring timely and efficient hiring.
- Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to source candidates for a variety of roles, including nursing staff, caregiving teams, dietary personnel, and administrative staff.
- Utilize job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking to identify qualified candidates.
- Manage job postings, including descriptions, and ensure they align with facility needs.
Screening & Interviews:
- Review resumes and applications, and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate and conduct in-person or virtual interviews, evaluating applicants' experience, qualifications, and cultural fit with the facility's mission and values.
- Collaborate with department managers to schedule interviews and evaluate applicants.
Onboarding & Orientation:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have all necessary documentation and complete background checks, health screenings, and other required pre-employment tasks.
- Facilitate orientation sessions to ensure new employees are acclimated to the facility's culture, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to employment in the healthcare industry.
Building Relationships:
- Develop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies, local universities, and other sources of potential candidates.
- Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop long-term recruitment strategies.
- Attend job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities to promote the facility and recruit top talent.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all recruitment and hiring processes comply with state and federal employment regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
- Maintain detailed records of all recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview notes, and hiring decisions.
Retention Strategies:
- Work closely with the HR team to develop and implement employee retention strategies to ensure a high level of satisfaction and reduced turnover.
- Monitor employee feedback and make suggestions to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in healthcare, senior care, or assisted living environments.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HR software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations specific to the healthcare industry.
Preferred:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP).
- Familiarity with the recruitment needs and challenges specific to assisted living facilities and senior care.
- Experience in employee retention and engagement strategies.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional travel between various facilities within the New York area.
- Regular office hours, with occasional evenings or weekends as required for recruitment events or urgent staffing needs.
