Principle Functions:
The Digital Pathology Product Team Leader will:
Team Leader Responsibilities:- Conducting weekly meetings with your manager at a minimum of once per week to provide regular updates, information, challenges / roadblocks, goals, snapshots of the week, etc.
- Maintenance of existing department policies and procedures and encouraged to create new department polices to increase organization, standardization, and efficiency of workflows
- Collaborate exceptionally and foster communication within the various departments within INFINITT to enforce respect, cohesion, and cooperation
- Oversee structure of both internal training and customer training (new and existing) and schedule to ensure these are offered regularly
- Meets on an as-needed basis with IPK Developer(s) to provide customer product requests (from customer meetings, demonstrations, tradeshows, etc.), enhancements, etc. for future development needs
- Provides training to appropriate internal personnel on new product releases

Eventually (and with continued growth), a Pathology Team will likely increase. Once a team has been established, responsibilities will include:
- Conducting weekly team meetings with the Pathology Team to discuss progress, areas of concern, potential future risks, escalation needs, goals, etc.
- Foresee career paths, planning, and promotions of team members while maintaining roles and responsibilities of each individual
- Identifies performance issues of team members (when/if occurring) and creates a performance plan for reassessment or disciplinary action
- Recognizes when new hires are needed and becomes involved in the interview/hiring process
- Reviews each team member following the INFINITT protocol for performance management
Product Line- Assisting Sales Team with promoting the INFINITT digital Pathology solution and driving business in North America. Alongside sales, will help drive the early adopter partnership by establishing relationships with the executive and clinical administrators of healthcare organizations, hospitals, and cancer centers.
Tradeshow Presence- Continue to represent INFINITT North America at affiliated industry tradeshows, seminars, webinars, and other telemarketing events.
Customer Maintenance- Regular check-ins with existing customers ensuring satisfaction is maintained and assistance with upselling new product offerings when opportunities exist
Additional Responsibilities- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as a weekly report to the CEO regarding productivity and updates
- Assist Sales and Project Management with building strong reference sites for other prospective customers to call on
- Conduct regular meetings with the management to discuss product progression, areas of concern, potential future risks, escalation needs, goals, etc. This could involve resolving customer concerns by investigating problems, assisting with developing solutions, making recommendations to management, working alongside our technical support team, and managing all aspects of customer relations.
- Monitor industry competition by gathering current marketplace information on products, new products, etc.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to overall team collaboration / culture via various communication platforms (Microsoft Teams Video, Conference Call, Email, text, etc.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel, weekend tradeshows etc.
Essential Experience
The Digital Pathology Product Team Leader must have a strong Pathology Background with at least five years in a clinical setting and/or extensive knowledge in workflow and imaging. Knowledge and hands on experience with a digital platform in the PACS arena is a plus.
- In-depth background in Biomedical Science within a Pathology / Clinical environment
- Strong understanding of procedure, process, testing and technical equipment used within at Pathology laboratory environment.

In-depth and expert knowledge in one of the following Cell Path disciplines;
- Cellular Pathology
- Histology
- Histopathology
- Cytology
- Gynae Cytology
- Cytopathology
- Diagnostic Cytology
- Anatomical Pathology
- Cellular Sciences
- Knowledgeable regarding best practice within the laboratory.
- Experience with digital pathology strongly preferred
