Medical Assistant

Marvel Clinical Research is now seeking a full time Medical Assistant to be part of our Research Team.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Learns study protocols and monitors strict adherence to protocols by physicians, nurses, and research subjects.
• Recruits and enrolls research subjects into clinical research studies.
• Extracts data from subject's medical records to complete thorough and detailed case report forms required by specific protocols.

Administrative Duties:

• Scheduling
• Answering phones
• Patient Recruitment

Clinical Duties:

• Preparing exam rooms for research subjects
• Performing vitals and EKGS
• Performing injections
• Administering medications

Skills Required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast learner and problem solver
• Detail-oriented and multi-tasking ability
• Excellent customer service
• Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and Microsoft Office applications. Type 40 WPM or more.

Required Qualifications:

• Certificate from Accredited Medical Assistant Program
• High School graduate or equivalent required
