Infinity Marine Services specializes in performing vendor services to boat yards and dealerships in the Danvers area. Prior to the boat’s delivery to the customer, we provide detailing, gelcoat and fiberglass repair, and bottom painting. No prior experience is necessary. This is a great entry level opportunity to gain on-the-job training while working in the boating industry!

Job Description

Washing and detailing boats is the primary role for this job, and includes the following:

• Washing, waxing, and buffing exteriors
• Cleaning and treating windows & isinglass
• Vacuuming and wiping out compartments
• Wet sanding scuffs and scratches in gelcoat
• Polishing and protecting chrome
• Following all company and safety and standard operating procedures
• Ensuring quality work is done before moving on
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area

Bottom painting and prep work for paint repairs are the secondary roles within this position and include the following:

• Taping off water lines
• Sanding and painting the bottom of boats
• Sanding, taping, bagging repair areas prior to paint application (prep work)

Previous car detailing or cleaning experience is a preferred, but not required for this position. Being the right kind of person is what is most important.

• Must be willing to show up on time, clean and presentable.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation to and from work
