Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations in a timely and safe manner. The Delivery Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, and will be responsible for loading and unloading products as needed.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload laundry.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled delivery times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Assist in weighing laundry after picking up.
Experience
- Previous experience as a van driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Proven ability to handle heavy lifting tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
