Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient care as part of the Hospitalist team.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Manage and coordinate hospital admissions, rounds, and discharges.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (Family or Adult NP)
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License
- Experience in Hospital Medicine preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and hospital policies
