Job Title: System Engineer/System Administrator
Duration: 12 months
Location: New York, NY (100% onsite)
The role is set to begin very quickly and set up a team of onsite consultants at various NY-area locations who can assist the client s Operational Technology (OT) groups in supporting new and ongoing cybersecurity projects.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- Active Directory and Windows Server Administration and Hardening
- Windows Administration
- Windows configurations and deployments
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Set up and deploy devices, including defining access policy for Active Directory.
- Define requirements for conditional access policy for Azure Active Directory.
- Install hardware/software including anti-virus software.
- Work closely with IT/OT to support best practices related to security, application optimization, business processes, and issue resolutions.
- Systems administration including patching, security, and in-house systems troubleshooting.
- Document process and procedures.
- Identify and develop process improvements and efficiencies.
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
- Securing/hardening desktops
- Implementing/Configuring endpoint security tools (e.g. Trellix, Crowdstrike, etc.)
- Enterprise-level deployments of desktops/servers
- Windows AD configuration/administration
- VMware for desktop/server deployments
