Prepare parts for coating, including cleaning, masking, and pre-treating (e.g., blasting, washing).
Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and ovens.
Apply powder coating to parts, ensuring proper thickness and coverage.
Monitor and control the curing process, adjusting oven temperatures and times as needed.
Inspect finished parts for quality defects, such as runs, drips, and imperfections.
Rework or repair defective coatings as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of the coating process, including batch numbers, oven settings, and inspection results.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
