Engineer

INFINIUM has an immediate need for an Engineer that is conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated to join our team in Strongsville, Ohio with the following:
Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and implementation of new products, manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Conduct research and experiments to improve manufacturing processes.
- Analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production and Sales.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures.
- Ability to strategically document technical information.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement and safety activities to streamline production processes and enhance product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (from accredited college) is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment - preferred
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Experience with CAD software and programming languages. (Solid Works experience a plus)
- Comfortable working in a shop environment.
- Product design experience / aluminum extrusion design a major plus.
- Experience with CNC machines and 3D printers preferred.
- Door/hardware experience preferred.
- Architectural wall industry/construction experience preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with fastening techniques, spring design, plastic and roller bearing engineering.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
