Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
- Welcome and greet all clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner as the Receptionist
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls as the Receptionist
- Ensure the front desk and reception area is tidy, presentable, and well-stocked, as expected of a Receptionist
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services as the Receptionist
- Schedule appointments and meetings while coordinating calendars as the Receptionist
- Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email as the Receptionist
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation as a Receptionist
- Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges as a Receptionist
- Support administrative and HR teams with special projects as a Receptionist
- Represent the company culture and values in every interaction as the Receptionist
Qualifications for the Receptionist Role:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills expected of a professional Receptionist
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment, tools, and software used by a Receptionist
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, a key quality in a strong Receptionist
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management required for a Receptionist
- Professional attitude and appearance, as expected of a customer-facing Receptionist
- High school diploma required; additional certification in Office Administration is a plus for any Receptionist
