Job Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Availability to work 2-3 days per week onsite at the client’s location in Tallahassee, FL.
- 7 years of experience as a lead developer or development manager.

2.5 years of experience working with the following development technologies:
- CA Gen
- COBOL
- Classic ASP
- DB2 for z/OS or Oracle databases (or similar relational databases).
- Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of terminology and concepts related to DB2 for z/OS or Oracle databases.

Hands-on experience with:
- Computer Associates’ CA Gen workstation toolset for web server, online, and batch procedures.
- Computer Associates’ CA Gen Com Proxy service.
- Active Server Pages (Classic ASP) using VB and J-script.
- IBM Z-Server, CICS, JCL, and COBOL.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining software systems handling complex financial business processes.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET development.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a systems and data analyst, providing subject matter expertise for applications managing complex financial business processes on large, cross-functional projects.
- Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance teams during the modernization of existing systems, from inception to production environments.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve problems using troubleshooting tools and techniques, while collaborating effectively with the team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including design enhancements, roadmap definitions, and standardization of processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to establish and maintain guidelines, methodologies, and documentation.
- Partner with distributed, cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
- Stay up to date with trends, software development technologies, and methodologies, applying this knowledge to project work.
- Produce mockups and conceptual solutions for modernization initiatives, covering applications and reporting systems.
