General Expectations
- Minimum of seven (7) years of system development and business experience.
- Proven experience in developing and conducting test processes for various systems, client users, and units across an organization.
- Prior management, supervisory, or team leadership experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and integrate quality principles and processes into software development and IT operations.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes for the Project Management Office and its programs.
- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and compliance with customer requirements.
- Analyze best-in-class processes and define customer satisfaction metrics.
- Understand and optimize the interaction between business operations, operating systems, and network processes.
- Promote quality assurance principles through training, team facilitation, communication programs, and team-building activities.
- Research, develop, and implement testing methods and procedures to enhance software quality.
- Create and maintain an automation library for testing processes.
- Monitor and report on defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure that products, applications, and systems meet the highest quality standards before deployment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Certification in Process Improvement Methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong skills in business process mapping, identifying bottlenecks, and analyzing inefficiencies.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or specialized business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN software like Bizagi or ARIS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and motivational skills with the ability to drive team success.
Preferred Skill Set
- Certification in Quality Assurance, such as International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), is a plus.
- Experience with the Waterfall Methodology is preferred.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and quality control tools.
- Expertise in software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
