Role: Accessibility Tester
Location: New York City, NY (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type: Contract
Mandatory Skills:

- Talkback - Android
- Voice over MAC and iOS
Required:
- Should have knowledge of the Agile Process, regression testing, and defect retesting.
- Must have knowledge of WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 Guidelines, and basics of Accessibility Testing.
- Have good project management (Azure DevOps) and to be able to work productively as a single or as a team member.
- Have good knowledge of discussing with client on Accessibility Guidelines and of any Design change situations.
- Have good knowledge to discuss with the development team for defect explanation and able to explain the affected target audience because of the violation.
- Need to have basic knowledge HTML, CSS and a good knowledge of ARIA attributes and roles.
- Good to have knowledge of remediations on Accessibility defects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Should be able to perform the below Accessibility Testing Types:
- Automation (AXE/WAVE/Insights/Lighthouse/ARC/Headings map/Sort site).
- Color Contrast Analyzer.
- Page Zoom in 200% and 400%.
- Greyscale and inverse color.
- Mobile-Switch mode.
- Keyboard-only navigation.
- NVDA/JAWS/Narrator Windows Desktop.
- Voice over MAC and iOS.
- Talkback Android.
- Should be able to provide the defect report with complete details.
- Should be able to provide the remediations of A11Y defects.
- Should be able to involve with client meetings and dev team interactions on A11Y defects.
- Should be capable of dealing with multiple application dev teams on defect triage and closing the defects.
