Info-Matrix Corporation is seeking an IT Asset Management (ITAM) resource to serve as an IT Asset Analyst to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our client's hardware and software inventory within ServiceNow. This individual will focus on improving data integrity and streamlining asset management processes. This effort aims to ensure precise asset tracking, accurate financial reporting, and effective utilization of IT resources. Description of Duties Hardware Asset Management
- Ensure the accuracy and the completion of model numbers.
- Identify and validate manufacturers.
- Normalize model data for consistency.
- Research and load current and historical purchasing prices.
- Document and validate PO numbers.
- Identify and record acquisition methods.
- Review and update the usage of the Asset function field across the inventory.
- Assist in the implementation of a new inventory asset barcode scanning process, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
- Participate in the evaluation and improvement of discovery tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Desired Skillset
The ideal candidate will have one to three (1-3) years of experience in IT asset management or a related field, self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. In this role, a basic understanding of IT asset management principles and tools is necessary. A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration is desired. Equivalent combination of education and / or experience may be accepted.
