You will also be responsible for obtaining and analyzing physiologic specimens, interpreting physiological data, and performing tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system. In addition, you will apply and monitor medical gases and environmental control systems, mechanical ventilator support, airway management, bronchopulmonary hygiene, pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
