At Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in intensive care unit (ICU) settings to provide high-quality patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
We are looking for a nurse who can work nights in a 3x12 schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ICU protocols and be able to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
We require that all applicants have a New York license in hand and have not worked as a traveler within 75 miles of the hospital. We also require certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Additional details include working only with the American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
