Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate washers, sterilizers, and other equipment to sanitize instruments according to specifications
- Ensure adherence to instrument count sheets for surgical sets and case carts
- Assist in ordering, stocking and maintaining department inventory levels
- Perform required duties to maintain a contaminant-free work environment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1.5 years experience accepted if tertiary experience; 2 years experience if not
- Experience with STERIS Washers, Autoclave IT System: SynergyTrak
- Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds, manual dexterity, ability to stand, bend, lift and/or reach for extended periods of time
- Effective communication skills in English (verbally and in writing)
