Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced pharmacy professional to join our team as a Hospital Pharmacy Director. You will be responsible for leading the pharmacy department, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and collaborating with other hospital departments to deliver quality and safe pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for department operation, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory agency laws.
- Supervise and direct the activities of the pharmacy department, including managing new programs within the department and for the hospital.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments to deliver quality and safe pharmacy services to patients, outpatients, and employees.
- Develop and recommend department operating budget, ensuring that the department operates within allocated funds.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and collect statistical data as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy and MS or PharmD.
- Licensed as a pharmacist in Michigan.
- Three to five years of previous supervisory/administrative experience in hospital pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge in the 340B Program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously when needed.
